-Description

One of the representative collections of IWCIngenieur, means "engineer" in German.

The first Ingenieur, born in 1955, was an improved pilot watch Mark XII (Mark 11) for consumer use.

Equipped with a self-winding movement and equipped with a soft iron inner case, it was highly resistant to magnetic fields, shocks, and water resistance.

Since then, there have been several model changes, and although the design is different, the collection continues today.

This watch, Reference 3521, was introduced in 1993 and was produced until around 2001, and is a certified COSC chronometer.

Although it has a simple design without a crown guard, the flowing lines of the case, lugs, and bracelet give a very sophisticated impression.

Some people may have thought this watch looked like a Royal Oak.

That's right, because this watch was designed by Gerald Genta.

Gerald Genta was a designer of luxury sports watches such as Patek's Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak, and he had a great influence on subsequent watch designs.

From the Ingenieur SL Reference 1832 in 1976, the Genta design was adopted, and the thin design continued until this Reference 3521.

Since the Ingenieurs from the 2000s onwards have a so-called thick design, they give a very different impression, even though they are the same collection.

In recent years, vintage Nautilus and Royal Oak have become very expensive and hard to come by, but this Ingenieur has received a lot of attention because it was not as high-end as those two companies. didn't come

However, interest in the Ingenieur is increasing due to the fact that the above-mentioned watch has become too expensive and the fact that designer Gerald Genta is once again attracting attention worldwide.

The dial is a combination of pure white, gold indexes, and pencil hands for a luxurious feel.

This watch received complete service from IWC in later years, and the dial and hands were replaced by the manufacturer at that time.

Therefore, the indication below 6 o'clock is SWISS MADE, and the luminous paint is luminova.

The movement cal.887/2 equipped with the

is based on Jaeger Lecoultre's cal.889/2.

This cal.889/2 is a thin movement that is also used in Jaeger Lecoultre's Master Control, Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak, and Vacheron Constantin's Patrimony.

The Ingenieur is protected by a soft iron inner case, so you don't have to worry about it being magnetically charged, and you can use it without worrying about shocks during daily use.

In addition to the box and warranty card, this watch also comes as a full set with chronometer certificate and tags. This is extremely rare.

This is a product with various elements such as a luxury sports watch with an integrated bracelet made of SS, which is classified as a luxury sport, a vintage design by Genta, and a full set with a box warranty.

This product will be delivered after overhaul.

In principle, we do not polish, but we can handle it separately if you wish.

One year warranty after work.
