-Description

Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded in 1833 in the Joux Valley in Switzerland, known as the "Valley of Complicated Watches".

It is known as a "true manufacture", producing and assembling all components in its own workshops, known as the "Grande Maison".

The company's history of manufacturing watches with ultra-complications and the three traditional complications - perpetual calendar, chronograph and minute repeater - in the mid-1890s is testimony to its technological prowess.

The fact that it was also a long-time supplier of movements to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Cartier also proves that it stands out amongst the many watchmakers.

The fact that it was also a long-time supplier of movements to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Cartier also proves that it stands out among the many watchmakers.

This reference 6029.22 is a manual wind dress watch from the 1970s. The case is made of 18K white gold and has a rectangular shape reminiscent of a Cartier tank.

The case measures 25 mm in width and 32 mm in height including lugs, slightly larger than the mens size in vintage Tank watch.

The case design differs from the Tank in that the bezel is not flat, but has a stepped bezel. It is an element that creates a three-dimensional effect in a flat design.

The crown is also set with a cabochon sapphire. It not only adds to the sense of luxury, but also serves as a stylish accent.

The dial is a matte navy. If you look closely, it looks like scales made up of triangles. This is a very rare type of pattern and you can feel the attention to detail.

The hands and indexes are a combination of simple bar indexes and pencil hands. The JL logo, known from the current models, is placed in an exquisite balance.

The installed movement is manual wind Cal.841. This is an extremely reliable movement that was used in the Reverso Classic and ladies Reverso, and has been carried over to the current model with only minor changes.
