-Description

Patek Philippe is a watchmaker founded in Geneva in 1839. The company makes watches without any compromise by utilizing its unparalleled quality and technical expertise.

Along with Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet, it is known as the Big Three, one of the world's three major brands, and it is no exaggeration to say that it has established a special position among them.

In addition to continuing to be one of the world's finest manufactures, the extremely small number of watches produced makes this brand synonymous with luxury watches. The independence of being a family-run business and the reliability of knowing that all watches can be repaired create value as an asset that can be passed down through generations.

This watch is the Calatrava reference 3425, a model that was introduced in 1960 and produced until around 1967. It features a 33.5mm case, a non-date automatic movement, the Cal. 27-460, and a screw-down case back, making it one of the most practical vintage Patek Philippe watches.

The case is made from 18K rose gold, although this reference was also available in yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and platinum.

A piece with rose gold case is extremely rare and rarely appear on the market. Only a handful of these have been sold domestically or internationally, including at auctions.

Another major feature is that it comes with the original double PP-marked crown.

The dial is an ivory-colored opaline dial. Depending on the light and angle, it can appear grayish or slightly green, giving it a rich expression.

This reference is available with two dials: enamel and printed, and this watch comes with the printed dial.

The hands and indexes are a combination of baton hands and bar indexes. They are made of the same 18K rose gold as the case.

The movement is the automatic Cal. 27-460, Patek Philippe's second-generation automatic movement, which was introduced in 1960. It has been used in a variety of references, including the Cal. 27-460M with a date display.

The adoption of ball bearings to hold the rotor core has improved durability and winding efficiency, and has succeeded in making the movement 15% thinner than the previous generation Cal.12-600AT. The rotor still retains its beautiful striped finish with the Calatrava mark.

The watch comes with an Extract from the Archives and original Rose Gold buckle.
