The Explorer, a model developed for explorers (explorers) who want to challenge unexplored places.

The Explorer I was introduced in 1953, and 3/6/9 was characterized by a very simple design with no Arabic numerals and date display.

The very famous vintage model, Ref.1016, went through a major design change to become a practical model, Ref.14270.

The windshield has been changed from plastic to sapphire crystal.

The dial design is now a deeper black, and the indices are trimmed with metal.

The big difference between this model and Ref.1016 is that the 369 is no longer coated with luminescent paint and has a white line inside.

The size of the case, 36mm, which is small for a sports model, is easy to match with any kind of clothing, and the dial design is simple enough to be used both on and off.

The thickness of the case is also thin and the weight is also very light at about 100g including the bracelet, so it is quite good for everyday use.

This Ref.14270 is a long-lived model that was manufactured from 1990 to 2001, and there are minor differences between the years.

This unit was manufactured in 1999 and the luminous paint on the dial and hands is Luminova, and the 6 o’clock position is SWISS MADE.

Also, the buckle part of the bracelet is a double lock.

The movement is Cal.3000. The power reserve is approximately 48 hours.

The Oyster bracelet has 13 links. There is not much stretch.
