-Description

Vacheron Constantin is a watch brand founded in 1755 in Geneva, Switzerland. It is considered to be the oldest watch brand in the world that has continued uninterrupted since its inception.

It is said to be one of the three major luxury watch brands in the world, along with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

The Manufacture has passed down from generation to generation the outstanding watchmaking techniques and sophisticated design techniques cultivated by generations of skilled craftsmen.

This reference 6791 is a manual-winding dress watch manufactured in the 1970s.

The case is made of 18K yellow gold. It has a rectangular shape reminiscent of a Cartier tank. It is characterized by being slightly slanted over the rug.

The case measures 23mm in width and 32mm in height including lugs, the same size as the LM size in vintage Tank.

The bezel and sides are flat with a hairline finish.

The dial is a dark gray dial with a sandblasted finish. It is expected that the black dial has changed to this color due to aging.

The indexes are of a rare design with three at 12 o'clock and two at 3/6/9 o'clock. The hands and indices are gold and have a moderately luxurious feel.

The movement is the hand-wound Cal. 1003/1, a classically designed movement that has existed since 1955 and is an ultra-thin movement with a diameter of just 21mm and a thinness of 1.64 mm.The movement is Geneva Seal-certified.

The Geneva Seal is a true standard of quality and a stamp of authenticity that guarantees that a watch is manufactured in the canton of Geneva. The Geneva Seal is a rigorous system that guarantees origin, craftsmanship, durability, and watchmaking techniques.
