-Description

Vacheron Constantin is a watch brand founded in 1755 in Geneva, Switzerland.

It is considered to be the oldest watch brand in the world that has continued uninterrupted since its founding.

This watch is a reference 6562, self-winding watch from the 1960s.

The case is stainless steel, which is very rare for a vintage Vacheron.

The back cover is screw back, which is also quite rare.

The size of this watch is 35mm, which is large size for this period.

The dial is a silver dial with sunray finish. The color has changed to almost ivory with age.

There is almost no damage and it is in excellent condition for a watch from the 1960s.

It has alpha hands, wedge-shaped indexes, and other vintage features of this era.

There are two types of Ref. 6562, one with date and one without date.

This example, without date is more rare than another.

The movement is automatic Cal.K1071.

This movement is based on Jaeger-LeCoultre and is made of 18K gold with guilloche engraving on the outer circumference of the rotor.

In addition, the rotor is supported by four ruby bearings, making it a gorgeous structure.
